Photoshop Lightroom 2 For Dummies
With the economy continuing to crash and finances being tight, I’ve completely turned to online shopping for great deals. Not only was I able to buy an Awesome digital camera for my Mother-In-Law, but I was also able to purchase a few really great Photography books. I’ve spent most of my time getting my hands on and reading every book I can about Photography and Photoshop. There are dozens of awesome books out there. One of my favorite series though, is the “Just for Dummies” books. Not only are they clear and precise, but they also explain things in a way that literally forces you to understand. If you have been doing digital photography for any length of time, this is a must read. I think every Photographer, Young, Old, Professional or Amateur needs to get their hands on Adobe Lightroom. If you already have the software, GREAT, you are one step ahead.
With Adobe Lightroom I was able to process over 1000 photos in 1/4 of the time it would have taken me in Photoshop. Don’t get me wrong, I love Photoshop, but when it comes to working on 100’s and 1000’s of images that all need to be organized and processed with similar settings, Lightroom is my Application of choice. Even if you don’t have Adobe Lightroom, and you read this book, I can bet you will be purchasing Lightroom within days or weeks. Lightroom is hands down one of the best tools any Photographer could have.
Photoshop Lightroom 2 for Dummies, will provide the hands-on, step-by-step instruction you need to completely master Lightroom and digital photography. What I love best about these “Books for Dummies” is that it is self paced and you can read and do as little or as much as you like per lesson. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
