To wrap up this demonstration of the Valentine’s Gift Card, we add some text and graphics to the card. Using Photoshop’s built in Perspective tool, we can map any text and/or graphics right to the card. You can create your text and graphics in a new layer or completely separate document. The whole idea is to cut the graphics and text from the layer/document and paste them into the Perspective tool, once you have your 3D area defined. In our original example, we showed a reflection below the card. You can either create an entirely new shape below the card and bring the opacity down to around 20 or 30% or you can make a duplicate of the actual card that has the graphics already applied. This will give you the most realistic effect so that your graphics and text are also contained in the reflection. Watch the video below.
