Did you know that you can quickly and easily print your Photoshop shortcut keystrokes? Well, you can
and it is actually quite easy.
If you’ve never used your shortcuts, you really should start. Using shortcuts will speed up your work flow and you can even customize your own keys.
Here’s what you do:
- Press: SHIFT + CTRL + ALT + K
- To the right side of this menu, there is a button labeled, “Summarize”
- Click this button, it will allow you to save your shortcuts as an HTML page.
- Save it to your desktop for an easy find.
- Lastly, open this HTML file in your favorite internet browser, ie. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari. From your browser, go to the “File”menu and then choose “Print”. Additionally you can press CTRL+P and this will also allow you to print a page.
See, I told you it wasn’t so hard, only five easy steps! Now you have an easy shortcut list you can refer to.
To customize shortcuts, first make a copy of Photoshop’s Default list. Then simply double click the shortcut you want to change, then press the actual keystroke on your keyboard that you want. If
the shortcut already exists, Photoshop will alert you that it already exists. Feel free to overwrite the existing shortcuts with your own.
Hope you enjoyed this quick tip! Have fun!
